Cleaner, by default
Better-for-you isn't a premium tier here — it's the starting line. We build programs to the claims your shoppers and operators look for.
Claims are built to your program's specs and verified to supplier documentation. Regulated claims and certifications (Organic, Grass-Fed, No Antibiotics Ever, and others) are confirmed before any product is labeled.
Label design and USDA approval, handled
Your claims are only as strong as the label that carries them. We design the pack and shepherd it through USDA — so you launch clean and on time.
On-brand, retail-ready artwork
Label and packaging design built to your brand, your claims, and your format — for shelf or foodservice.
- Brand-aligned label & packaging artwork
- Dielines, print-ready files & spec sheets
- Claim placement and required legends, done right
- Retail-ready and bulk / foodservice formats
Through FSIS, the first time
We prepare and route labels through USDA FSIS, matching every claim to the wording and documentation it requires.
- Sketch-approval prep & FSIS submission (LSAS)
- Claim wording: Organic, grass-fed, NAE, no-nitrate
- Substantiation & supplier docs, kept audit-ready
- Guidance to avoid the costly relabels
We prepare and guide submissions; final label approval rests with USDA FSIS. Regulated claims are confirmed against product specs and certifications before printing.

Craft you can put your name on
Forged Provisions exists to make the cleaner option the default. We pair real butchery and formulation with the discipline of a manufacturing partner — so retailers and operators can launch better-for-you pork and beef under their own brand, without the usual tradeoffs between clean, consistent, and scalable.
Private label & co-pack, answered
Common questions from retail, CPG, and foodservice buyers.
What does Forged Provisions do?
Forged Provisions is a private label and custom co-pack partner for pork and beef. We develop and manufacture bacon, sausage, charcuterie, whole-muscle cuts, ground, and finished CPG products under your brand, to your spec, for retail and foodservice.
What better-for-you claims can you build programs to?
We build to natural-products claims including Organic, No Antibiotics Ever (NAE), grass-fed (beef), no added nitrates or nitrites, no artificial ingredients, Non-GMO, Whole30-eligible, Paleo-friendly, Keto-friendly, gluten-free, and humanely or responsibly raised. Regulated claims are confirmed against product specs and supplier documentation before any product is labeled.
Do you serve both retail/CPG and foodservice?
Yes — both. We run private label, retail-ready CPG programs for grocers, natural retailers, and emerging brands, and custom-spec product at volume for restaurant groups, broadline and specialty distributors, and commissary kitchens.
What products and formats can you make?
Pork and beef across every format: bacon (slab to retail packs), fresh or fully cooked sausage, cured and dry charcuterie, whole-muscle case-ready or bulk cuts, ground at your lean point, and retail-ready packaged CPG products.
Do you handle label design and USDA approval?
Yes. We design retail-ready labels and packaging and prepare and route them through USDA FSIS — including sketch-approval prep and LSAS submission — matching each claim to its required wording and substantiation. Final label approval rests with USDA FSIS.
